Each and every item from The Crafty Medic Company is individually handmade and made to order. This means that a little more attention needs to be pain when caring for these items.

General Apparel Care Tips

Despite your best efforts, all items will most likely fade with time. Following the steps below, however, will help to prolong the life of your garment.

Turn garment(s) inside out to wash
Machine wash cold
Do not use fabric softener
Do not bleach
Hang or lay flat to dry (preferred) or tumble dry on low
Do not iron directly over images
Do not dry clean

Bleached & Hand Dyed Apparel

All bleached and hand-dyed apparel is washed in Arm & Hammer Plus Oxi-Clean Powder Detergent.

All bleached garments are washed after the bleaching process, to stop the bleach from eating away at too much of the fabric.

Once you receive your garment, it should be washed separately from other clothing in cold water, for at least the first 2 washes.

Hang to dry (preferred) or tumble dry on low.
